‘The End of the Earth Postponed’ is the title of a recent article published by Livescience.com (http://www.livescience.com/culture/mayan-apocalypse-miscalculated-calendar-101018.html). A new critique, published as a chapter in the new textbook "Calendars and Years II: Astronomy and Time in the Ancient and Medieval World" (Oxbow Books, 2010) claims that accepted conversions of dates from the Mayan to the Gregorian calendar may be off by 50-100 years. While the proof of this claim remains to be verified the message itself sends a damper to the prophets of doom as well as to those predicting the advent of a new Golden Age.
An enlightened understanding of the strategies of the dark side of humanity clearly shows that fear and control are major objectives behind the media hype of issues such as global cataclysms, alien invasions, and terrorism. Following are some important points for consideration.
The Mayan Elders (http://www.shiftoftheages.com/) and their spokes person, Drunvalo Melchizedek (http://www.drunvalo.net/) have yet to speak of the true meaning and timing of the shift since the interpretations of the scholars are theirs and theirs only. They never made claims that the Earth will be transformed or destroyed. Furthermore, Dr. Johan Calleman, a Mayan scholar (http://www.calleman.com/) interprets the Mayan prophecies in terms of stages in the evolution of consciousness culminating in 2011.
While an increase in Earth frequencies and influx of cosmic energy appears to contribute to the awakening of humanity, no one can pinpoint the timing and nature of future cosmic events. The influence of changing human consciousness on future events is becoming increasingly clear, thanks to advances in quantum physics and emerging findings in biology and spirituality. What this means is that ‘we must become the change that we want to see in the world’ (Gandhi). As co-creators, our elevated levels of consciousness will raise that of the collective and determine the quality of manifestations. The aspect of our individual responsibility for raising the light cannot be overemphasized and we are getting a lot of tools from credible sources.

1) Hathors (http://tomkenyon.com/the-crystal-palace-within-and-opening-the-halls-of-amenti): As described in this message is a technique to connect with Source and radiate this energy to the earth and humanity. It is also meant to counteract destructive thought forms that have ruled humanity for millennia.
‘The first thing that struck me about this latest message from the Hathors, says channel, Tom Kenyon, is their act of naming two highly injurious thought forms that are affecting our world culture. In their opinion, these two thought forms are a type of mental/emotional and spiritual poison that is affecting our very selves and the world we live in.
The first of these thought forms perpetuate the belief that we have dominion over the Earth and that she can be used and abused as we wish. Part of the underpinnings of our current worldwide ecological crisis can be traced directly to this thought form that is expressed most succinctly in the book of Genesis. Recently I read some writings by scholars suggesting that the King James translation of this text was actually a misinterpretation of the particular scriptural passage in question (Genesis 1:26-28). But misrepresented or not, it has fueled a human arrogance that underlies much of our philosophy as well as our cultural, scientific, and technological attitudes. The injury from this thought form is affecting our very ecosystem, the very fabric of life itself.
The second injurious thought form they addressed also traces its roots back to religion. This is the belief that we are somehow separated from our own Higher Self, Divinity, Godhead or whatever name you wish to call it. The end result of this thought form is that we are banished from the realms of light and spirit by our own self-condemnation. The Hathors are very clear about their attitude regarding this thought form. There is, in their opinion, no separation between us and our Celestial Souls, our Higher Selves, or our Divinity (again, whatever names you wish to call it). We need no intermediary between us, and our divine nature. And the perpetuation of this belief in our unworthiness to receive the gifts of the light realms actually prevents us from receiving the grace and healing that is our very birthright. This type of healing grace from the light realms is streaming to us from another aspect of ourselves, not from a force outside of us.’

We are nearing the apex of this pyramid where there is nothing left to add. The pyramid is completed and we – each of us – must look at the pyramid we have constructed and ask ourselves how it exemplifies our transcendence, our true Self.
‘The change I want to see in the world is that people begin to see themselves as multidimensional beings whose core is the Sovereign Integral that is the distillation of First Source in a singular, human expression. If people were only in tune with this frequency, they would understand that all is united in oneness, equality, and truth. This is the definition of the Grand Portal as it has been disclosed by the WingMakers mythology for the past ten years.
Each individual is a portal unto themselves, and this portal is the access point to the interdimensional worlds of the Sovereign Integral, where the human instrument, like a space suit, is finally removed and the individual realizes their true, infinite nature. Conclusions:
The messages from credible sources including those of self-realized beings are unanimous, namely that each of us must do our homework in terms of going within and reconnect to our true nature and All That Is. This will not only help in creating a better future but also aid our capacity to cope with chaotic events, such as the crumbling of the global financial system. After all, we are in an era of transformation, transparency, and expansion.
